AGEST Super conducts regular super information sessions. The upcoming seminars are listed in the table below.

Our information sessions are particularly useful for employees of the Australian, ACT and Northern Territory Governments and for those people who would like information on salary sacrifice, allocated pensions or the rollover of lump sums.

There is no cost to attend. As we are now a public offer fund, anyone is welcome to attend our superannuation seminars.

Each seminar runs for 2 hours and includes a break for refreshments. The seminar covers topics such as:

  • new legislation
  • features and benefits of AGEST
  • contribution splitting
  • salary sacrifice contributions
  • Government co-contributions
  • spouse contributions
  • taxation of contributions
  • access to benefits
  • lumps sum rollovers
  • taxation of benefits
  • allocated pensions
  • transition to retirement pensions
