AGEST and AEW Real Estate

AGEST has appointed AEW to manage part of the unlisted property portfolio of the fund.  We are invested in the AEW Value Investors Fund II.


Objective and Strategy

AEW has a long history of successfully creating and executing value-added real estate investment strategies across market cycles.  They source, close and manage investments in each of the primary property sectors, as well as in the hotel and senior housing sectors.

Value-added investment strategies are executed by the AEW Direct Investment Group.  The team of experienced professionals includes acquisitions, portfolio management, asset management and accounting professionals who work exclusively for direct equity clients.

The AEW fund seeks to provide investors with an attractive total return, as well as consistent current cash distributions through redevelopment, re-positioning, re-tenanting and other active management strategies.
