Members Equity (ME) is an Australian bank which is 100% owned by over 40 not-for-profit Australian superannuation funds, via a company called Industry Super Holdings Pty Ltd (ISH). Each of the 40 superannuation funds holds shares in ISH. AGEST is one of those shareholders.
Industry Fund financial Planning and Members Equity Investment Funds are also subsidiaries or divisions of ISH.
AGEST pays Industry Fund financial Planning for part of the cost of providing financial planning services to AGEST members in Australia and this may influence any advice received from Industry Fund financial Planning.
This is effectively a small private equity investment for AGEST.
