Find your lost super accounts
SuperSeeker is the ATO's online service for individuals to search for lost super savings.
By providing some personal details - name, date of birth and tax file number (TFN), SuperSeeker allows a user to search the Lost Members Register (LMR), Superannuation Holding Accounts Reserve (SHAR) and superannuation guarantee (SG) records. Any possible matches found are then displayed.
If a possible match is found between the user's TFN and the LMR, they are provided with the name and contact phone number of the superannuation provider that reported the account as lost.
If a possible match is found against SHAR or SG records, the user is asked to contact the Tax Office directly.
